Camp Kākou is a movement uniting churches and youth groups across Hawaiʻi to create life-changing encounters with Jesus for teenagers. Through powerful worship, engaging activities, and authentic community, Camp Kākou provides a safe space for students to grow in their faith, form lasting friendships, and experience the transformative love of God.
It’s more than a camp—it’s a catalyst for a generation to step into their purpose and bring God’s Kingdom to earth.

Since Camp Kākou’s launch in 2022, we have welcomed over 700 students to experience life-changing encounters with God:
- 2022: 95 students (Combined camp for Jr. High and High School)
- 2023: 300 students (120 Jr. High / 180 HS)
- 2024: 320 students (150 Jr. High / 170 HS)

Dreaming Bigger
Expansion in 2025
Due to reaching maximum capacity over the past two years, we are excited to expand Camp Kākou in 2025 to include even more students, churches, and youth groups. We will now host four camps—two for junior high and two for high school—with a capacity of 150 students per camp. This means that in just two weeks during the summer of 2025, we can reach the same number of students we’ve served over the past three years combined.
Our partnership with Puʻuhonua Farms remains at the heart of Camp Kākou. This special collaboration continues to provide a sacred space for students to encounter God, build meaningful relationships, and experience the beauty of His creation.
2025 Camp Schedule:
- Group A High School: June 8–11, 2025
- Group A Junior High: June 11–14, 2025
- Group B High School: June 15–18, 2025
- Group B Junior High: June 18–21, 2025
